RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) allows wireless ignition-on & starting on 2-8 centimeters distance with a pushbutton equipped tag. The Easy RFID comes with 3mm mounting holes and, in contrast to some other RFID units, in stand-by mode it hardly uses any power that could drain your battery. Only after the 'tag' (key) is pressed the Easy RFID unit is activated, after the button is released the starter motor is deactivated. The Easy RFID comes with two tags and that is the maximum of tags that can be used. Other tags can be bought (125 kHz, EM4001) and after it 'learns' the RFID unit it can be used, so a lost tag is not a problem. Dimensions: 50x50x15mm.
